ABOUT

We produce beers across the spectrum. Inspired by traditional British, Continental and new wave beers, Daniel and Gemma McColl launched McColl's Brewery in spring 2017. But it all started 13 years ago from a passion for raw ingredients, from making, from not accepting the status quo or following the crowd, from our urban upbringings to our now rural family life. All the influences, all the cultures, all the flavours.

Fast forward eight years and Danny secures a position of Head Brewer at a commercial brewery in the Lakes. And now from our beautiful little 20-barrel brewery in Teesdale, Co. Durham we deliver beers across the spectrum.

Our aim is simple – to produce beautiful and drinkable beer that is flavourful and aromatic.

OUR BEERS

With an initial fermentation capacity of 40 barrels we offer a core range of four archetypal British beers in their design, ingredients, production, flavours and aromas. Yes to fixed style icons and seasonal favourites and yes to experimental ingredients and methods. Based on a foundation of quality and consistency we offer beer across the spectrum.
